Relevant Journalism is intended for educational purposes only. All participants who participate in Relevant Journalism must agree to and observe all policies and rules set forth in this policy. If any individual does not adhere by the rules and policies set forth during their participation in Relevant Journalism, they will be dismissed from the project.

- Teachers and students must be informed of their district’s technology and media policies which include the right to privacy, support, and internet access.
- Students will not disclose any personal information and agree to only use their first name on the website.
- Students and Teachers will abide by copyright laws and cite appropriate sources when using someone else’s original ideas, research, or information.
- Inappropriate use of language, photographs, video, harassment of other participates, or other materials when uploading final products or direct communication between participates will not be tolerated. Any such language or material should be reported immediately.
- All participants will be respectful of one another at all times.
- Teachers are expected to closely monitor all activities relevant to the project and student’s interaction. Teachers are expected to review all materials before sending over final products.
- By submitting images, video, music, and/or intellectual property resources, participants are hereby agreeing that Relevant Journalism can freely share these works within the global community for educational use.
- Links to other sites are solely for educational purposes and are used to supplement the information found in this Global Learning Project. We do not endorse the content of the linked sites, nor do we guarantee their validity or accuracy.
- Classroom teachers will review the Trust and Monitor Policy with all participating students.
